this is how and were balines men loose or win their money ... you wouldn´t believe how high they are betting on those pure animals. some loose their motor bikes or even their houses. and the other ones the ones with feathers looseeven more....

we built our own table game today! speaking about games we loved when we were kids. we did remember the game called risk, but on bali you can not find that. so we had to build it. so we bought wood and color pencils and thx to everybody putting hand on - we finished it until sunset and started playing right away. to be honest - we love it way more than the original.....

last week there was a local surfing competition here in bali canggu. like always we are part of it cause we already know the boys since they are little. now they are growing up and getting better and better every year. we really hope that a few of them can make it pro and discover the world surfing. our here this day was moy - wayans son from dian cafe ... he was ripping and with only 14 years of age he came second after sodok ( 19 years) gratulations MOY!!!

today we had a nice early early morning surf in kedungu - all alone until 730. then back home where wautzi byte tobi - what tobi did n´t like at all. then downtown denpasar to jalan sulawesi to look for a nice wool fabric for our next winter jacket. after hours on the market we found a very nice material checked if it is really wool - how? - you need to burn the material and if it smells like hair and does n´t leave anything behind except ash when burning - it is wool. so thats what we did - then bargained for a good price - "good for you good for me" then went for a coffee right after and back home on our sepeda bagus....

today we met mr. abdul to check on the first samples of the oncoming collection. mr. abul, our producer in bali is getting better and better every year and we are very happy to have him in the avalon team. this time there were almost no mistakes, except some pockets showed up at the wrong side of one of our new pants. looked funny but no big deal... thx to mr. abdul and his tailors the process is much faster now.

just bought this beauty (COLNAGO - late 80ies or 90ies?) so cri´s legs stay fit here in bali. just have to find out when this baby was produced..? if you have any idea please let us know!
