our garments are handcrafted with love and a big smile in Bali, Indonesia. The company that produces our clothing, is long friends with us, we know every single worker and we know that they have a fair loan und do not work in sweatshop circumstances! we are actually very proud of that and we will always keep it that way! All prints and embroidery we design ourselves or have friends, who are interested, helping out. We are always happy to get input from our environment and are constantly improving cuts and fits. The design process often starts with a little sketch of multiple ideas we pick up „out there“ – then goes to the actual first handmade piece @ home - to the reproduction in Bali, where we also have the garments printed and embroidered. and we just love doing that!

Why „avalon“?

it’s that mystical place/island to which mankind has lost the ability to enter because of its disbelief in nature and its spirits. There’s so much out there that cannot be explained, so many questions (the questionmark is part of our logo) and we let ourselves be inspired by them. To us we seem to have found our Avalon in Bali our second home. Where people still smile and aren’t stressed all the time – especially in the mountain areas they still live with nature and their passed on traditions. We very much respect their way of life and don’t interfere with it. So sometimes stuff takes longer than expected – that’s Bali, that’s its rhythm and pace…
